The Persistence Group™
A space for the leader in you to evolve.™
Most leadership development lives in the room where it happens. The retreat ends. The energy fades. Six months later nothing has changed. Not because the work was not good. Because there was no structure to sustain the growth once the room emptied.
The Persistence Group™ exists to change that. We work with organizations committed to a structured, relational, and outcomes-driven approach to the development of leaders who persist.
About
A space for the leader in you to evolve.
The Persistence Group™ was built from more than two decades of doing this work from the inside. Not consulting from the outside in. Leading from within. Every framework, every methodology, and every engagement reflects that lived experience.
The name carries the philosophy. Persistence is not stubbornness. It is sustained, intentional effort in the direction of something that matters. The Persistence Group™ exists to develop leaders who persist, to support the people who develop them, and to build organizations where persistence is recognized, rewarded, and reflected in how people lead.
Professional development is a non-negotiable here. The goal is never a good session. It is visible, applicable, measurable growth that the leader, the colleague, and the organization can point to long after the engagement is over.
The Framework
A structured, experience-driven model that connects engagement to measurable leadership development. Built to make leadership growth visible, documentable, and sustainable across any organizational context. Three layers. Four dimensions. One methodology. The north star for every leader who persists.
The operational core. A recurring eight-session cohort model developing leaders across the four LEAD™ dimensions. Peer co-facilitators - COMPASS™ Captains - drive the learning experience from within.
The human infrastructure. Organizational leaders serve as Practitioners, extending the methodology into their specific leadership communities and documenting development across the four dimensions.
The philanthropic commitment. An annual investment directed toward one emerging leader within every licensed implementation. The recipient is recognized as The Persistence Scholar.
The Four Dimensions of COMPASS™
The ongoing pursuit of knowledge, skills, and perspectives that strengthen leadership capacity.
Consistent, intentional participation in the communities you belong to and serve.
Understanding how your leadership connects to the mission and values of the organizations you serve.
The active, intentional cultivation of your identity, readiness, and resilience as a leader.
Direct Engagement Services
Leaders leave every Persistence Group™ engagement with a clearer sense of who they are, a deeper understanding of the work they are called to do, and a forward-facing plan they can act on immediately.
A facilitated half-day experience grounded in The Leadership Exchange™ methodology. For teams building shared leadership language, organizations preparing for strategic planning, or any group in transition or realignment.
A full-day experience anchored in The Listening Table™ methodology. A three-part arc: reconnecting with self, clarifying leadership identity, aligning purpose with mission. For teams that need to remember why before they move forward together.
A focused, one-on-one engagement for leaders navigating organizational complexity, structural decisions, or moments of transition. The Leadership Lens™ shifts how you see your situation, the decisions in front of you, the people affected by them, and the organizational impact of moving in one direction over another. Listening-first. Built entirely around your context. Every engagement is original.
The deepest engagement in the Persistence Group™ portfolio. Two days built on the Pathway to Leadership™ Framework and the COMPASS™ methodology. Available as two consecutive days for maximum immersion, or two half-day sessions with an intentional bridge structure. Delivers a personal leadership inventory, team alignment summary, and a forward-facing action plan that the organization can act on immediately.
The Occasion Address™ is a keynote or ceremonial address that marks the moment and sends people forward with something worth carrying. Built around the specific occasion, audience, and organizational context. Every address is original.
